The text of this hymn to the Mother of God is that of Monsignor William Levkulic, who also published an English translation, We hasten to your patronage.
The words of the hymn make it particularly suitable for the feast of the Protection of the Theotokos (October 1).

This hymn was included in the Užhorod Pisennik (1913) as hymn number 132, with four verses - which correspond to the first and second halves of the first verse above, and the two halves of the second verse.
Father Stefan Papp's Duchovňi Pisňi, on page 48, .named this hymn among those for the feast of the Protection of the Theotokos, but did not provide text or music.
In 1978, Monsignor William Levkulic published the three verses given above (without music) in The Divine Liturgy, a Book of Prayer. Text and music were included in the Marian Hymnal (1984).
