At "O Lord, I have cried": three stichera from the Octoechos, and three for the holy martyr.
Tone 4, special melody Jako doblja. Standing above earthly things * like a living cloud, O most blessed one, * you cast down the perverse serpent * with the thunderclaps of your miracles * and the awesome lightning-flashes of your words! * You receive the grace to destroy the Evil One * with the divine covering of the sacred Gifts.
O holy bishop Timothy, * boast of the people of Prusa, * universal champion and worldwide beacon, * adornment of the Church, sacred sacrifice of faith, * and precious and lustrous ornament of martyrs, * pray that those who celebrate your most honored memory with faith * may be delivered from corruption and misfortune.
With your pangs, O Timothy, * you wove a beautiful garment dyed in your blood, * and received from on high a heavenly garment, * made from incorrupt purity and unchanging life. * Wearing this robe in the heavenly court, * pray for all who praise you in piety, O athlete!
