music (samohlasen)

At "O Lord, I have cried", there are three stichera for the holy martyrs.

Tone 4, special melody Dal jesi znamenie.  Receiving the illumination of the knowledge of God, * which enlightened your spiritual vision, * you wisely left the shadows of error * and confessed Christ to be the Lord of all, who took flesh. * Then, O Chrysanthus, strengthened by the power of the Spirit, * you were seen to be superior to your torments.

The seductions of the enemy * and the attractions of pleasure * were nothing more than cobwebs to you; * enduring a dark dungeon, * you were enlightened by divine radiance. * In the midst of filth, you were filled with a sweet spiritual fragrance. * When a woman tried to corrupt you, * as an excellent teacher * you led her to Christ as a spotless bride.

The love of the Creator * pierced you with its gentle arrows. * Then you completely abandoned the false worship of the pagans, * going to the divine bridegroom in his dwelling, * united to him through countless torments in your body: * O far-famed Daria, * divine temple of the Spirit, * splendor of virgins and adornment of martyrs!

Glory, now and ever – Theotokion, or Stavrotheotokion

Troparion,  Tone 4.  Your holy martyrs, O Lord our God, * in their struggles, received an incorruptible crown from you. * With your strength, they brought down the tyrants * and broke the cowardly valor of demons. * Through their prayers, O Christ our God, save our souls.
