This Lenten hymn to the Mother of God is from page 108 of Father Stefan Papp's Duchovňi Pisňi (1969).
Sources
This hymn was included in the Užhorod Pisennik (1913) as hymn number 89, with 18 verses. Each verse had three phrases (although either the second or third might reasonably have been repeated).
In 1969, Father Stefan Papp printed the version with music and four verses given above, with each verse having four phrases rather than three. (Note, however, that two of the verses repeat the second line of text at the end.) Verses 1, 2, and 4 above correspond roughly to verses 1, 4, and 16 in the Pisennik, while the third verse above seems to come from another source.
